1 Mile Family Fun Walk
Just because you’re not up to a 5K race doesn’t mean you can’t take part in the Gallop. Participants in the Family Fun Walk will line up behind the 5K racers for the 5:00 PM start and follow the Mill Mountain Greenway to Jefferson Street. Walkers will then double back to the starting line and head to the post-race party in Elmwood Park. The Fun Walk is a great way for families with young kids to take part in the Gallop, and there are plenty of entertainment options for the young and old when the party begins.
Registration for the 1 Mile Family Fun Walk is $25.00 if you sign up before April 9th. Entry fee includes a t-shirt, admission to the post-race party, and a free meal.
