Fleet Feet Kid’s Fun Run
Fleet Feet Sports is the proud sponsor of our Kid’s 1 Mile Fun Run, open to kids between the ages of 6 and 14. The race begins at 4:15 PM, prior to the start of the 5K and 1 mile events. We will have monitors along the race course to ensure the children’s safety, and parents are welcome to jog along side their kids.
The course loops around the block that surrounds Elmwood Park. Fun Run participants will begin on Franklin Road and make right hand turns on Williamson Road, Elm Avenue, Jefferson Street, and back on to Franklin Road for a 2nd loop. After the 2nd loop, kids will run through the finish line in front of the Downtown Library. All Fleet Feet Fun Run racers will receive a finisher’s award, and the time clock will be displayed at the finish line to note your own run time.
Registration for the Fleet Feet Kid’s Fun Run is $20.00 if you sign up before April 9th. Entry fee includes a t-shirt, admission to the post race party, and a free meal.
