Registration Deadlines
The deadline for early registration is April 22, 2011 and the fee is $30. The late registration fee will increase by $5.00 to $35 for anyone signing up after April 22, and t-shirts will not be guaranteed for late registrants. Online registration will end on May 10, 2011. You can still register at Packet Pickup, but there will be a $5.00 increase in the registration fee to $40 for anyone signing up at packet pick-up the week end of the race.
Mail In Registration Deadline
Mail In registrations must be postmarked by May 3, 2011. Registration at packet pick up will be available.

Timing Chip Pickup
Gallop 4 The Greenways is a chip timed event. Timing chips for 5K participants will be distributed at packet pick-up. Timing chips are disposable and do not need to be returned.
Fleet Feet Kid’s Fun Run Start
The Fleet Feet Kid’s Fun Run will begin at 4:15 PM at Rivers Edge near the pedestrian bridge. The Fun Run is open to kids 13 and under.
5K Race Start
The 5K Race will start at 5:00 PM on Wiley Drive near the Rivers Edge tennis courts.
1 Mile Walk Start
The 1 Mile Walk will start at 5:15 on Wiley Drive near the Rivers Edge tennis courts. Walkers should line up directly behind the 5K Race participants.
Post-Race Party
The post-race party will be at the Down by the River Concert at Reserve Avenue Athletic Fields. Your race bib will provide you free admission to the concert. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. ID is required for beer. Those who do not participate in the Gallop may purchase entrance tickets from the Jefferson Center or on site.
Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony for top runners and fundraisers begins at 6:15 PM on the stage of Down by the River.
Parking
Parking is available in the Riverside Center parking garage off Reserve Avenue and in the Crystal Spring parking garage between Evans Mill and McClanahan. There will be no parking on Wiley Drive, as it will be closed.
